Rolling Hills Horse Property Under $3,000,000

Rolling Hills, California is a gated community on the Palos Verdes Peninsula noted for its outstanding equestrian estates.  Located near the top of the peninsula, the area also possesses some of the most coveted views often spanning from the city lights of Los Angeles to the wide open ocean views of the Pacific.

More than 30 miles of riding trails lace the hills and canyons of Rolling Hills.  The minimum lot size is one acre and many properties are much larger.  When one is searching for horse property along Southern California's coast Rolling Hills is likely to be at the top of the list.

Many of the properties are priced well above $3,000,000, but if you're willing to do some upgrading it is possible to acquire usable horse property in Rolling Hills under three million dollars.  Keep in mind, some properties are zoned for horses but the topography and access limit their functionality.

We previewed 10 Georgeff Road at a recent open house.  It is a ranch style home with horse facilities in place including a riding ring.  There is access to the lower horse facilities via a private drive.  The property is currently for sale for $2,900,000.

2 Hillside Lane recently came back on the market.  The property is over 2 acres with guesthouse and barn. The property is currently priced at $2,799,900 and has panoramic views of city lights and partial ocean.  Located close to the main gate, the property has amazing potential to become one of Rolling Hills finest horse properties.

The price range of Rolling Hills horse properties currently available range from $1,649,000 (access to the horse facilities is limited) to $53,000,000 for a 7-plus acre estate not currently being used as an equestrian property.  11 of the current 20 Rolling Hills properties for sale fall between the $3M to $6M price range.
