While touring PV homes last week I saw this poster for the 29th annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show in Palos Verdes. Last year was the 56th annual show... These posters have been designed by the art students in the local school for the last 25 years. I remember submitting a design during my senior year at Peninsula High.
The shows are an all weekend affair in the fall and held in the huge Weber equestrian facilities at Ernie Howlett park in Palos Verdes. Here is our article on last year's show. For more on the show which benefits the Children's Hospital, here is their website: PCCH - Portuguese Bend Horse Show.
