Palos Verdes is horse country, especially Rolling Hills. However, properties zoned for horses can also be found in Rancho Palos Verdes, primarily in the Portuguese Bend gated area off Palos Verdes Drive South. The Palos Verdes Drive North area of Rolling Hills Estate has many horse properties for sale.
There are a few horse shows in Palos Verdes each year, and there's nothing quite like having the right saddle when putting a show horse through its paces. Judges are grading the horse but the rider's appearance and equipment are important as well.
