The City Council of Rolling Hills Estates approved the planning
application for additions and upgrades to the city owned Peter Weber
Equestrian Center. Over $1.7 million in work is currently proposed
(funded by grants/propositions) and would finish around October.
Per the PVP News article
by Mary Scott,
the Center "will get a state-of-the-art prefabricated steel barn at the
back of the property, a new restroom, and a new covered area for feed,
manure and shavings."
"There will be little to no changes to the existing barn at the front
of the property, along Crenshaw Boulevard, and the riding rings,
Planning Director David Wahba said."
The Center is located near the Palos Verdes Drive North and Crenshaw intersection and is privately run.
